Precision machined pin-sockets liberally plus cross sectioned Material-Electrical Brass extrusions. Slit-self tensioned sockets ensuring cent percent contact when mated. Plug earthing unfailingly continuous to outer body. Silvered Pin-Sockets for reducing contact resistance on special order.

Construction

Usually Aluminium silicon Alloy casing grey lacquered over hard gripping primer, alternatively Brass if users do not mind higher costs' Installation of extra high electric strength PFM mouldings/Fine Grain DMC/Epoxy/FRP blocks. The Guard Ring prevents Possibility of accidental contact with pins consequent on finger slipping Also offers protection to pins, on plug slipping Unshrouded pins are liable to distortion in such cases.

Interchangeability

Same rating Amps & number sequence contact sockets blindly interchangeable with corresponding plugs through type or side entry. Fouling is impossible with our plugs.

5 Pin Plugs & Sockets

3 POLE + N + E: In actual practice of installations for project executions, very often, Plugs.& sockets of high ratings and terminal combinations may be required for such requirements, we are at the disposal of clients - with our substantial experience in this line.

We have a 5 pin 300A assembly Plug & Sockets. Being a heavy duty unit, the inner block of such units are constructed rigidly with pre-visualization of all possible hazards in usage. Naturally users can bank on an absolutely trouble free assembly.

Wire connection arrangements in the plug as well as in the socket are on rear extension terminals. All phase and neutral terminals are shrouded, Earth terminal however is left bare. For all high rated units, beginning from 100A, 2-side wire connection screws, one below the other are provided.

6 Pin Plugs & Sockets

3 POLE + N + E+ P: Conforming to BS 4343/CEE17 specs. We have developed these units especially for overseas customers who are interested in PLUGS & SOCKETS to international standards. These assemblies offer perfect interchangeability with plugs and sockets of other manufacturers foreign and Indian origin. It is an engineering product of India on par with international standards.

Due to our pre-occupation with various types, presently in this category we are making only one type, details are tabled below.

Other Features

Complete assembly in 3 distinctive parts PLUG with guard ring-SOCKET with covering lid-conduit/glanded TERMINAL BOX. Sockets for panel mounting with rear unexposed do not need conduit boxes. However, sockets for direct wall mounting need conduit boxes. Lid interior Socket bottom- and plug side inlet, all provided with high grade Neoprene Rubber Gland bush minus bored to enable correct glanding to cable size. Test results are better than laid down standards. Proper compounding of terminals recommended after wire connections in plug with connection screws located inside insulation blocks.

Reverse Meeting Plugs & Sockets

For operational reasons as well as for specific technical considerations reversed plugging arrangement is sometimes found advantageous for us. We have made a few types and combinations of such assemblies for varied users. In these units the stationary part forms the pin terminals whereas the moving part comprises of the Tube Terminals.

3 & 4 Pin Cable Couplers

3 POLE + E: Our Couplers find various applications in electrical and industrial undertakings. For instance, connection of portable cables to electric shovels, substations, junction boxes and for safe temporary joining of cable lengths. Being metal enclosed, these couplers eliminate dangers of exposed connections.

The coupler bodies are rugged, corrosion resistant, brass lacquerer finish as in our metal clad socket-plugs. Sockets and pins are precision machined from electrical quality extruded brass rods, ensuring high conductivity and continuity of service when plugged. Interior dielectrics holding sockets and pins are of high resistance insulating material. The central heavy duty knurled ring nut offers firm mechanical holding together of socket and pin halves. Both cable inlets are provided with compression grip glands acting under tightening pressure of nuts.

Both are duly shrouded. The stationary part is suitable for mounting on panel or with box on wall. Existing types are listed below:

Multi Contact Plugs 5 to 64 Pins

Pins & Sockets are standard rated 15A in these Units. Normally we are equipped to supply these multi pin plugs and sockets with configuration up to 64 pins on short delivery.
